I think you’re reading the Bible too literal. I do this, too, sometimes, and it does not help.

Many of us are living tortured lives now. That is hell. And it feels eternal. I don’t believe there is an actually underworld.

If you have shitty karma in this life, that will carry on to the human race after you die and into the next life. We’re all in this together. Everyone matters.

I have experienced brutal hell that felt eternal on Earth. Because I was stubborn, ungrateful, complaining. But now I can see a little more clear.

We are all in a different journey. If the Bible doesn’t help you, forget about it, though the New Testament is quite beautiful when you open your heart. (A year ago I would have cringed if I saw myself write that.)
