The Holy Spirit, as I understand it and know it, is the silence. Love and peace pours through in this silence. Putting it into words is futile…

But people still try. Let them. And try not to let their egos shake your faith (though it looks like they’ve succeeded). Which is fine…

The Holy Spirit, or whatever you want to call it — peace, love — is still in you. Maybe you just need to discover it outside the lens of religion.

Note: For me, Christianity is not the same as religion. You can believe in Christ’s love and promise and not be religious. That love is spiritual, beyond organization and text.
